Welcome To the Geneva Landlords Association
Since 2007 we have been helping other Geneva area landlords succeed through the sharing of knowledge and information.
Although we primarily focus on the City of Geneva and the issues that face us here in the rental industry, the tools
and knowledge we provide reaches into the surrounding areas of Yates and Seneca Counties and beyond.
So even though you may not own property in the City of Geneva you may still become a member as the tools we provide
will be extremely useful.
We meet once a month and usually have monthly presentations on a variety of subjects.
Topics we have covered in the past or will be covering in the future include Fair Housing and Discrimination,
Fire Prevention, Banking, Insurance, Code Enforcement, Government programs, etc...
Water Meter Replacement
Be sure your tenants in the city of Geneva are aware of the city's water meter replacement program which started in mid-March and is scheduled to continue for the next several months. Contractors wearing "PVI Meter Replacement Team" shirts will be going door to door to replace all water meters. The contractors will also carry appropriate identification. Water service will be temporarily interrupted for about 30 minutes to replace the meter. The meter replacement is mandatory, and if a tenant refuses cooperation, water service may be shut off.
